A must for any traveler, the south of Tunisia is a mix between beauty, magic and joy. Very beautiful scenery and wonderful people make any journey there a unique experience.

To see the Sahara and to ride a camel through the dunes is probably on most peoples bucket list and definitely worth the long trip south to do it! There's not much more to say!

Douz is a neat little town with a central quiet square with some tourism and enough backpacker type/value hotels and restaurants. You have to go 50 kms south to get to the "real desert"
