Went to Tinker to get a break from a shopping trip. Weather was nice so we headed out on the paths. Trails were in amazing condition.... would be wheelchair accessible easily, on outer loop, compact crushed stone. Inner loop is mulch. Museum was not open during our trip but did look well kept. Kids were pleasantly surprised by fairy houses...... More

Tinker nature apart has wonderful marked trails and they are dry and well kept. It's a nice place for a walk. It's flat so it isn't a difficult hike. You can take your time because it's not crowded. They have a nice informative nature center and it's a great place to take the kids.

This park has family-friendly trails. Be aware that they do not allow dogs in the park. However, wild life is all around. We saw many geese and deer in close proximity to the trail as we walked. The highlight for children age 3-8 or so are the 22 fairy houses built into the trees at child's eye level as you... More

Hard to say in winter, but the ambience, safe trails, and accessibility were excellent. Recommend visiting as it's good spot rain, or shine, or snow.

We come here often in all seasons. We love the winter when not so cold because you can really see the colorful birds flying about and the deer. It is a nice relaxing walk through the woods that anyone can do.

Tinker Park is a lovely place for all. The trails is a nice, stoned path for a leisurely run or relaxing walk amongst the trees and wildlife. On special weekends, there are wonderful nature learning events for the family and even a couple civil war reenactments which is a lot of fun. Low key, but a great way to wind... More

What an amazing trail. My granddaughter was thrilled by the fairies houses and the troll bridge. She wants to go back at dusk to see if the fairies come home. Fireflies would be so perfect. The Nature Center was also fun to see. Lived in Rochester all my life and never knew this existed. We will be back.

I've been walking for the last 7 years around the parameter trial and Nature trail. This summer I've had to stop frequently because families with young child are looking at the Fairy Houses. I love watching the kids and even brought my own Granddaughter to see the houses. I never blocked any one from walking. This was designed as a... More

We were so pleasantly thrilled with our visit to this nature park! We spent 3 hours here and decided to save the museum for our next visit. Not only are the paths easily walkable with a 6 yr old, the area is beautiful and the addition of the fairy houses is magical! After our lovely walk along the fairy trail... More

I'd heard about the fairy houses on the trail so went to check it out. They are incredibly creative and fun, and plenty to see. Searching for them is part of the fun. The trails are very well maintained, easily accessible to anyone (small ones, elderly, wheelchairs, strollers, medical scooters, etc.). No bikes or pets are allowed though. There is... More
