The best botanical garden we have visited, period. The setting, the organization, the informative labeling, everything is beautiful and amazing. We have visited two years in a row, and we live in Florida! If you are visiting anywhere in central NY, go to beautiful Ithaca and Cornell plantations.

Although we did not have a pet with us, this area is very pet friendly. We saw people walking their dogs & it was a great area to enjoy a day looking at the various plants & flowers.

We visited the Botanical gardens, and although it was the end ofAugust, there were alot of flowering plants in bloom and alot of photo ops. The gardens are beautifully laid out and well maintained. The herb garden provided a good variation of herbs not normally found in your backyard garden. A peaceful pleasant visit.

The many acres of the Cornell Plantations that is open to public access is a nice, peaceful place to take a relaxing stroll to discover the numerous varieties of trees, perennials, wildlife and even art. There are frequently community events, such as "Judy's Day" that offers hands-on exploration to a variety of sciences, craft projects, and learning experiences for people... More

We spent an hour exploring, saw many beautiful trees and flowers, and views of the campus from the eastern heights. Don't forget to ring the large (and very loud!) bell at the eastern parking lot!

Beautiful setting. Peaceful scenery. I loved that the trees & plants all had specific names on their tags. The ability to make your stop or tour as educational as you'd like with audio tour availability was a good move. I made a brief stop to just explore one area, and I'm looking forward to going back. This is such more... More

Beautiful flowers, shrubs, trees in a peaceful setting. You can make the tour as educational as you want with ability to tap into tour using phone. There is a nice gift shop and restrooms. Parking is free on the weekends. This is a jewel in the Ithaca region.

Went here with a group of Master Gardeners. The Climate Change garden was interesting as was the entire veggie and pollinator gardens. Loved the herb garden too. It's better to visit the wildflower garden in the spring when more plants would be in bloom but this is definitely worth a visit.

The gardens are beautiful with nice walks. We were there during a heat wave so we did not explore as much as we would like.
