The Cayuga Nature Center ranked on my list of things to do if the weather turned unfavorable during our stay near Trumansburg, NY. Cue our rainy Sunday morning visit! The building itself is a curio, built as a “preventorium” to aid children exposed to tuberculosis....More

The Cayuga Nature Center is great low-tech fun. The kids and I always have a great time climbing in the treehouse, hiking the grounds, seeing the animals and learning some fun facts about our world. Just another fun family spot in Ithaca.

Great place to hike and see the beautiful falls and check out the tree house. WE stopped on our way to somewhere else, or we would have stayed longer.

The tree-house alone, "Tree-tops" makes this a wonderful, whimsical experience in nature. The Nature Center also has an historic place in time that is interesting and unusual. Add some great hike/walks and you can enjoy one to two hours of very special "Ithaca nature"
