This was our first stop on weekend visit - and it was very enjoyable. Staff was very helpful and the timeline was a great starting point. It was helpful to see the industry in the area over the years.

This is an excellent place to learn about the history of Ithaca and Tompkins county. The staff was very helpful in helping individuals seeking information about ancestors who settled in the area. One of the best historical research places that I have been in throughout the US

Free! There are a few display items from the past but I found the map room to be the most interesting. Helpful staff too.

A calm and welcoming venue to bring out of towners to when they also are interested is our history. Very well displayed over a long range.

Unusual in that we find a source and resting place for local stories which have New York State ramifications.

Working with the League of Women Voters we are helping to increase the amount of information the HIstory Center makes available to the Community. The Center has a wealth of information to share with the local schools and colleges; data used for research that is not available on the internet.

We had my niece's gradation party here. She is going to major in history in the fall so what better place to have her party than here! The staff was so pleasant and helpful too! They have some timeless pieces on display so it is well worth a visit if you are in the Ithaca area!

It is very informative to learn the history of Ithaca, New york. It is well worth the visit and since it is not extremely large, it may take individuals a hour to a hour and a haft to see and read all but it is extremely informative with a very helpful staff to answer any questions one may have.
