If you are in Ithaca for anything at all, take a few minutes to stop by the Ithaca Falls. We did just that on our way through town. With the snowmelt and rain/snow mix from the day before, the falls were thundering! The trail to the falls - which is a very short walk - is best navigated from the... More

We were there in Feb. and really enjoyed seeing this large and beautiful falls. As it is winter, I believe the best viewing area is from the bridge. There is nowhere to pull over so you must park on a side street and take a short walk to the bridge. From there, the view is quite good but mostly from... More

We didn't really know the area was known for its falls but we sure found out soon/ Get a map from the chamber or hotel and make sure you take advantage of this.

This was our favorite waterfall in Ithaca, NY by far! So majestic and takes your breathe away as you stand in awe. Super easy and short trail to the falls, making this the perfect falls to visit for most folks! You'll just LOVE it!!

They have just redone the road and bridge that affords the best view of the falls, and it is terrific. Although there is a small parking lot to the right of the falls, the parking lot across the street (technically for the school) is better. You get some great shots of the falls from the bridge, and only have to... More

Who would give a waterfall less than a stellar review? The park is beautiful. But they need trash bins! I understand that this is technically a "state park" and thus is carry in carry out. But its in a urban environment. Practically in college town. A few trash bins would go a long was to keeping it clean and sanitary.

The parking was easy to miss, but luckily we found it. It was a minute walk up to a beautiful waterfall. Truly breathtaking. For the effort, this is really a sight you should prioritize if in the Ithaca area.

The falls were easy to find and it was a very easy, short path to them which is accessible for all ages. While many other falls in the region suffered due to the drought, these were still going full force and were very beautiful.

This is an amazing falls, often photographed when there is lots of water, and a treat to look at! It's also in an interesting part of Ithaca, with lots of old fashioned little houses.

A pretty little walk down to Ithaca Falls that is a popular stop. We saw fishermen as well as wild life, blue herons and ducks. Definitely worth the stop.
