Having been to the RTP facilities on numerous occasions with both of my children, I have seen the changes and improvements over a span on 20+ years. Friendly and knowledgable staff members, mostly volunteer, answer all your questions from both young and old. There also...More

Beautiful museum with wonderful bird and animal paintings and sculptures. I was unaware that Roger Tory Peterson was from Jamestown and learned a lot about him as well as other artists whom he inspired. The museum changes exhibits several times a year always keeping it...More

When we visited there were very limited Peterson prints maybe due to making room for another artist. Could benefit from a short movie. Nature trails are overgrown. Definitely not worth price of admission-$15 adults, $10 for seniors.

Mostly an educational center but the displays in the galery are normally quite nice. Building is great. Worth a stop and you might even learn something

We visited to see the "Art and the Animal" exhibit, which was fabulous. They have changing exhibits, but they are always of high quality. In addition, you can stroll the grounds and check out the butterfly garden and a pond.
