Some neat artifacts, but was all contained in a single room, which was not very large. Would have been better if paired with another attraction.

Has all sorts of Olympic memorabilia. Really wish it was bigger but it is nicely done with lots of great items. Always worth the stop.

It is very small museum. Amount of exponents in not big, but what you can find it is magnificent. Is shows how Technic in sport has changed, collection of clothes, equipment and medals. For that price can be bigger....

This is just a great historical place, especially if you have a love for the Olympics and sports. My son loves museums and hockey so we spent along time here reading and looking. I love walking the streets of lake placid and imagining filled with all the people and athletes like 1980 and the museum helps you add to that... More

Museums aren't for everyone, I guess, but this one is near perfect! It is small, but packs a lot in. You guessed it. There is plenty from the 1980 Olympics, and the Men's Hockey Team, but that not all. They have a bobsled from 1932. They also have quite a bit of figure skating displayed. Before you leave the museum,... More

The museum was small but full of interesting information about the development of lake Placid and how they landed 2 Olympics. The full length video of the USSR Vs US game was riveting and only seems like yesterday.

Very interesting place to visit. Did not realize the history that was there. Saw both of the arenas from the Olympics.

I enjoyed visiting the museum, especially learning a bit about Lake Placid history. Lake Placid is a really special place. It would have to be for a small village of its size to host two Olympic Games! That being said, the museum's current state does a disservice to one of the most iconic moments of the Olympic Games and U.S.... More

Thank you for your review of the Lake Placid Olympic Museum The museum has an extensive collection of Olympic materials, highlighting the stories of the 1932 and 1980 Olympic Games held in Lake Placid, along with stories of Lake Placid’s rich winter sports history located in the Olympic Center. The museum is currently planning to re-design the Hockey exhibit area... More

As a huge fan of the 1980 Olympics I was excited to go and enjoyed seeing the artifacts from those games. Watching the entire US-Soviet hockey game that is constantly playing was mesmerizing. However my 12 year old daughter was quickly bored and the amount of items on display were limited, so this museum may not be for everyone.
