It may be small but what a treasure this wonderful store is. It is filled with incredible cheeses, fresh baguettes daily, gourmet cookies, bagels, breakfast treats, speciality vinegars & oils, sandwiches made to order and so much more. Laura the owner is charming and so is her friendly & caring staff. Great place to shop for edible Christmas gifts. A... More

Loved the variety of items here especially the cheeses. They were so helpful and sweet she gave us samples of cheese to try. We ended up getting midnight moon goat cheese and Beemster Gouda cheese. We also tried the" best hot chocolate in lake placid "and it was quite delicious but pricey. It was a great experience. Def stop in... More

One of my favorite shops in Lake Placid. Excellent assortment of gourmet items. Outstanding cheese selection. A must stop every year.

This store has great cheese, try the cloth wrapped cheddar, wonderful olive oils and vinegars, fresh baguettes, and tasty desserts. They have the best coffee! This is our go to place when we come up to our house in Saranac Lake. Staff is patient, knowledgeable, and friendly. Wish they were on Long Island!!!

We live an hour and a half away and always stop in to see what's new. My fiancé loves the variety of different cheeses and I am a huge fan of the strawberry banana smoothies. There are no sweeteners added, only the fruit and apple juice. The staff is always crazy friendly and doesn't rush you to make up your... More

Whether it's the infused olive oils and vinegars, a baguette, the cheese, the treats or the GF macarons, this is a must stop whenever we go to Lake Placid. It's a tiny shop and often so busy you're elbow to elbow with other people. It is also a little pricey, but we like everything we get.

My husband and I stopped in Lake Placid in late April on route home from a vacation, so we just wanted to stretch our legs and grab a bite to eat. We went in Temptations and picked a sandwich from the cooler and a macaroon. The beef sandwich was delicious - so was the baguette it came on - and... More

I went back to see what was taking my husband so long when I thought he went inside to to get a cup of coffee. Well there was way more in here than coffee and pastries. They have lots of olive oils, balsamic vinegar and other gourmet food and seasonings, even gourmet dog biscuits. They have tastings of blended olive... More
