Hell-O, spelled out in eye-catching Jell-O colors, is a welcome mat you can buy in the Jell-O Museum Gift Shop. This small quirky fun museum is in the birthplace of the Jell-O brand in Le Roy, NY. This museum explains its history, advertisement campaigns and early methods of distribution. Numerous Jell-O molds are on display. For the Jell-O art connoisseur,... More

Anyone in Western New York for any period of time needs to make tracks for the Jell-O Museum and Gallery in Le Roy. Run--do not walk!--to Le Roy. This is one of those small, quirky, joyful roadside oddities that make America great. I'd add that the employees were extremely knowledgeable and personable; their kindness and enthusiasm are unfeigned and contagious.... More

This is a cute and very informative stop. The staff are very knowledgeable and accommodating, I don't think you could stump them with a Jell-O fact! This isn't a large space, but it's amazing what they have put in here; it was great to take a walk down memory lane with some of the packaging, ad campaigns and moulds!

You can get through the museum in about 30 minutes. The information they provide is very good and they offer a scavenger hunt that forces kids to slow down and read the informative material they have hanging on the walls about the history of Jello (they will get a small prize for completing it). I wish I could remember the... More

I learned so much more about Jell-o than I ever wanted or needed to know. It was great! I think my favorite part was all the classy oil paintings of Jell-o (originally used in advertisements), though the Wall of Molds (and the random dead giraffe) was great, too. Don't miss the gift shop! Tons of Jell-o paraphernalia in general, as... More

This museum is locatedd in an old school. Although it is small, it contains a lot of information about Jello and how it came to be invented. There is also information regarding the era of history that contributed to this dessert and how Jello has influenced history itself. One of the only drawbacks is that it is located on the... More

To have a little museum for Jello is very nice, but it is small with not much to see. $4.50 entrance fee is honestly a bit steep for the experience. I was in and out in 20 minutes.

The Jell-O Museum and Gallery is one of those out of the way places that just captures your imagination. We had a wonderful guide/story teller, Ruth, that made the story of Jell-O come to life. The others at the museum were also very friendly and helpful. There is a small transportation museum in the basement with mostly horse-drawn vehicles. But... More

Amazing stop to visit when traveling! The history given to us was amazing and fun. There is so much fun and exciting history in this small museum. Also, you can go down stares to a exhibit about the towns history but if you want to have a good time in a limited time stay mostly upstairs and explore the jello... More

When traveling long distance with my family my wife looks for out of the way interesting stops to break up the trip for my younger boys. This one was special. Was small getting in is awkward. You follow a path that feels lik you are walking through someone's yard. But once inside it is a great little place especially the... More
