While it may seem at first sight to be just another local history tour, this is one that is truly interesting in the history and development of Western NY and the country. Lockport is an integral part of the industrial history and the making of...More

The best part of the cave is the under ground boat ride by far. Overall it was a lot of walking but it was fun to do. I would do this tour at least once in your life. You wouldn’t be disappointed!!

We took our family to the caves for a day trip and loved it. My kids are 7, 9, and 11 and found the boat trip to be a lot of fun (and quite wet, so use the ponchos!). The tour guide was very interactive...More

Who knew something in my backyard would be so amazing? My 4&7 yr old boys loved exploring. The guide was so knowledgeable. It is worth every penny and made me very proud to be from Lockport!

The cave tour, led by tour guide Ken, was very well done. Much insight was provided re: cave construction, the businesses which once utilized the power it generated, and unusual happenings/circumstances. I especially liked references to the laborers which toiled to create the cave and...More

This was a fun tour and history lesson. The tour guide was knowledgeable and funny. There is quite a bit of walking and stairs, so it might not be for everybody, but it was worth the time and expense.

This cave was different as it was full of history. The guide did very good job with explaining the history of the locks and the cave and how it was constructed. Overall a good time.

We stopped in Lockport to get a better sense of the Erie Canal and its history. While there, we heard about this cave and boat ride, so gave them a try as well. The Lockport Cave is a manmade tunnel, roughly paralleling the canal, that...More

No, pets are not allowed. If it is a service animal I would call and double check with them to see if accommodations can be made.
