We stopped in at Lockport Cave and Underground Boat Ride in mid-May. We're from western NY and hadn't even heard about this before so we were quite surprised. If you're visiting the area I would certainly recommend this activity. The guide was very knowledgeable about...More

We really loved the tour! We started with a short tour and history of the locks, a walk along the river with some history of the manmade cave and then went in. Very beautiful and interesting all at the same time. We'd highly recommend going!

Our tour guide was great! Fun and informative. There is a bit of walking and you have to climb stairs. Not a good tour for small children but school age and up would really enjoy it.

While it may seem at first sight to be just another local history tour, this is one that is truly interesting in the history and development of Western NY and the country. Lockport is an integral part of the industrial history and the making of...More

The best part of the cave is the under ground boat ride by far. Overall it was a lot of walking but it was fun to do. I would do this tour at least once in your life. You wouldn’t be disappointed!!

We took our family to the caves for a day trip and loved it. My kids are 7, 9, and 11 and found the boat trip to be a lot of fun (and quite wet, so use the ponchos!). The tour guide was very interactive...More

I would call before just showing up, they do have many tours a day, but I would definitely call ahead of time to see what the availability is like.

No, pets are not allowed. If it is a service animal I would call and double check with them to see if accommodations can be made.
