Very nice spot on the East River. Summertime on Thursdays, Fridays and Mondays you can watch the pretty much constant seaplanes taking off and landing taking the well-to-do folks to the Hamptons.

Great views of midtown and ferry stop so can get ferry to williamsburg, DUMBO and lower manhattan. Pepsi Cola sign nearby.

Make sure and go over here it has great views of the city and east river. nice place to stretch the legs or just enjoy the outdoors a little.

This is a beautiful park, lovely and peaceful in the middle of a loud city. It has great views of the East River and Manhattan, and we got a ferry from here over to Manhattan.

For sure this place offers the best and less crowded view of Manhattan. You can enjoy the view sitting on a bench with only a few people around. From here you can see all : starting from Brooklyn Bridge to the buildings near Central park....More

There are on the street parking for hourly ,or there is a parking lot on 46ave and center blvd .its not too expensive .

I'm sorry, I don't know... It doesn't have gates or anything, but it may be posted to close at nite. People jog there though so, I would assume it opens very early.

Take the #7 subway right at the Bus station. Stay on three stops heading to Queens. Exit at Vernon-Jackson Station which is 50th St. Walk two blocks to the river. You will see the Empire State Building in front of you. Less... More
