Dependable transportation from central Suffolk County to JFK and back. I have used this service by van and town car on numerous occasions without any issues.

Easily booked on web. Instructions provided via email. Flight was delayed -- twice -- and made contact with call center. Updated my details although the person who handled my call seemed grumpy -- both times. Have to call once you have your bags, but car was approx 10 minutes away. Driver assisted with luggage. Well appointed car and clean. Made the transfer from JFK to Long Island really easy. Would recommend.

Great service! Flight arrived early and I was picked up in about 15 min by a Town car. Going to the airport had a shared van. Used on line ordering and it was great. They followed up with emails...

I was booking transportation for 21 people to Cape Liberty Cruise port. I called for a quote and then over a month later was ready to book, so called for another quote. Both were the same and I confirmed twice that it was for both ways and was assured. Received the contract and all was as quoted. After I signed the contract, I get a call - "Oh, the contract was written incorrectly the price is for EACH way, we spoke about that on the phone." Ah, no we did not. I am sure the guy made a mistake and when someone else looked at the contract called it out. Honestly, if he would have just said that I wouldn't be as pissed, I would have just cancelled as I did. Is this how they do business or an honest mistake (then don't lie) - I don't know.

We had an extremely bad experience with Winston Limo last Sunday. They were scheduled to pick up our party of 10 at the Bayonne Pier at 10:30 am. At 10:45 we called and were told the driver was on his way. We called every 15 minutes and were given a different lie each time. Finally they stopped answering our calls. At 11:45 driver pulls up, we were the very last party to be picked up out of 2500 passengers on this ship!! The next cruise passengers were already on board enjoying lunch. Our driver showed us his log book and they scheduled him to pick up a passenger at 11 AM in New York City. No way was it possible to get us by 10:30. When I called the next day to complain, I was told they would extend a 10% discount on our next airport trip. Really??? Do they think there will be a next trip because there will not. Do yourself a favor, book another limo service and stay far away from Winston, they do not care about their passengers.

Ugh, too bad you can't leave zero stars. DO NOT EVER GIVE WINSTON TRANSPORTATION OF MEDFORD, NY A DIME OF YOUR MONEY. Bar none the worst company I have ever attempted to do business with. I say attempted because the constant aggravation, changing my pickup time, changing from a private van service to a shared bus service, changing the time again (the last 2 occurring 2 days before my pickup), I simply had to cancel and look elsewhere.
So here's the story and I'll try to keep it short:
1. I booked a reservation online for 10 people to be picked up and dropped off at the Manhattan cruise ship terminal. Reservation was made about 6 weeks ago. On their website, 10 people is the max and you reserve the whole van. Perfect...that's how many we are. We set the pick up time, pay in advance, receive an email confirmation and we're all set. Ummmm...no!
2. A day or so later, Winston Transportation of Medford NY calls to say they will not honor the price for a 10:00am or 11:00am pickup time and if we want that price, they need to pick us up at 9:00am or we can pay almost double. You can't even board the ship until 1:00pm and the trip is only 1 hour on a Sunday morning. Their website and confirmation says absolutely nothing about this. After tons of arguing, and them basically saying we can go eff ourselves, we give in to the 9:00am pickup and I guess we'll just all sit on our suitcases in Manhattan for a couple of hours until we can board.
3. Two days before pickup I get a message from a guy who doesn't leave his name but, seriously, says we're too busy and can't pick you up with a van at 9:00am. Instead, we're sending a small bus at 8:30am and it's going to make a bunch of stops. No way!
4. I call back asking to speak with a manager, owner, decision maker, some one and am told "sorry...there's no one who can help you, they're not going to change anything for you anyway and you can call back on Monday". (It's now Friday and my cruise leaves Sunday) They basically tell me I can go eff myself again.
5. I now cancel my reservation and book elsewhere. It cost a little more and I'll gladly pay it so that I don't give Winston Transportation of Medford, NY a penny. (Yes I keep saying their full name and location hoping that search engines pick it up and display this review prominently) Now let's see if my credit card refund comes through.
So...this is how they do business and treat customers. Clearly they don't care. I'm the absolute idiot for booking this in the first place knowing how poor their reviews are. For the life of me I have no idea who would ever use this company and why. I can only imagine that their highly rated reviews are total bogus. You're been warned.

RUDE, actually beyond rude, inconsiderate and argumentative drivers two out of three trips to the city. The last time we paid for a private vehicle but ended up sharing and taking over 4 hours to get home when it is normally a little over an hour.Phone calls and emails to management were ignored.
Never again. We will pay for parking rather than use this company again.

We had booked round trip transportation from LGA to Liberty Pier in Bayonne NJ in order to catch our cruise ship and then return us to the airport. Catching our private town car was hassle free, However, coming back after our cruise was bad.
We had emailed the company to confirm our pickup. After we got off the ship, we called the company to confirm where to meet our driver. The person on the phone didn't know what time the driver would be coming, nor what type of vehicle he would be coming in, if it would be a car or a van. It turns out that he came in a van, dropped people off for their cruise. We got in the van wondering why he wasn't in a car? Then EIGHT more people showed up, saying they were waiting for a private van!
The driver had no idea about the scheduling, but said we all had to go together, even though they were going to a different airport.
The cost of a van for up to 10 people is $226 dollars. Our Private car was $176. We asked the person on the phone for a refund, she said we would have to phone during the week for a refund. We called on Monday, explained that our car did not come to pick us up and that we shared the van and should have only paid for 2/10 tenths of the the $226. We were told they would talk to accounting and get back to us. Tuesday they phoned back, left a message saying they would credit us with $14!!
We are hoping to get this problem settled soon, but not hopeful. I will keep you posted.

We have used Winston Transportation car service for many years to go to the Manhattan Pier and Van service to take the family to the Bayonne Pier. They have ALWAYS been early to meet us at home on departure and the van was waiting for our family at the Bayonne Pier on our return.
Used the car service again January 20, 2019 to Manhattan Pier. Car was on time for departure and shiny Cadillac was waiting to pick us up on our return! Friendly, capable drivers. Very pleased with service all the time. They have always been dependable!

I wish I had researched this company before booking with them. I'd give them ZERO stars if I could. When we arrived in Newark, we waited almost 45 minutes at the curb to be picked up. I called three times and their dispatch assured me the driver was 5 minutes away. The driver blamed their dispatch and their dispatch blamed the driver. This is a minor complaint compared to our drive from Long Island to JFK. I called the day before our departure from NY to ensure our driver would be on time. The told me to call 20 minutes before the driver's arrival to confirm. I did that and I was assured a 5:30 AM pickup. My daughter and I were outside the hotel at 5:25, and at 5:35 the driver showed up and complained that we weren't there at 5:30 so he went to get coffee. The entire drive, which was over 60 minutes, was horrifying. The driver was falling asleep at the wheel and drifed into lanes on numerous occasions. We were honked at and stared at and we were terrified the whole trip. The driver kept jumping in his seat and shifting around to wake up, drank coffee, rolled down the windows, ate a banana, and grumbled the whole drive. He missed our gate and had to circle the airport and snapped at my daughter when she told him he was in the wrong lane. He told her that we had plenty of time to get our flight. I sent an email to the company and did not hear from them. I called a couple of days later to follow-up on the email and I was reprimanded for not contacting them sooner. I was also told that I should have called the company from the car so they could send another driver to finish the trip. In what world would I want to be left on the side of the road on the way to the airport? When I asked that I receive a refund on my trip, the woman at the desk offered me 10% on my next visit. Her second offer was to refund the gratuity. She would not refund the trip because we "received the service". When I asked to speak to management, she told me they won't take my call. I will never do business with a company that does not allow access to management. Do not ever book with this company.
