Spent a lovely Sunday afternoon, for about two hours, at the Montauk Lighthouse. The fee includes admission to the museum (which used to be the housing for the lightkeepers), and a ticket to climb to the top (which I did not do). Very, very informative background throughout the entire museum. Beautiful vistas from the area also. Well worth the $11.00... More

Beautiful scenery. Amazing history. Informative museum. Friendly staff. And affordable. Exploring the surrounding grounds after was a bonus as well. Loved it.

A scenic and picturesque view of the east end. For walking, hiking, jogging and picnics, tour of the lighthouse a plus.

Although we came at the wrong time seasonally, we enjoyed our visit. The entrance fee is reasonable and the workers were very informative

Fairly inexpensive to do as a family. On a clear day it's an awesome sight ....giving one some insight as to the way the waters were lit a long time ago.

The logo for Montauk says...'The End', but in all honesty this is where Long Island begins. The Lighthouse sits on the Montauk State Park property and unless your a NYS Park passport member, it will cost you 8 dollars to park here. They have nature trails through out the park and if you choose to walk the shoreline on the... More

Most lighthouses only charge for you to enter and climb, but here they charge $8 to park and then $ 11 per person to walk around the grounds ( it also gives you access to clumb the tower) but you cant just walk around for free. Lots of trails and pretty views
