It's a nice landmark, but there is not much to see. you can just see it while driving to the top of the hill where an incredible, and I mean incredible view of the Mountain Range : " the Gunks" await you. Should you decide to park, be mindful of where you park your vehicle. I believe that there are... More

When we were there (October, 2016) the gate was under maintenance and we were not allowed to to through. It looks like most visitor came here, took a snapshot and left. We actually drove to the other side of the gateway (near Lenape Lane and Butterville Road). From this side you have a beautiful mountain view.

Having lived adjacent to the Testimonial Gateway for 33 years, I have to remind myself how lucky I am to be this close. However, anyone planning to come see this beautiful place, please remember to NOT park on the roadway. Hopefully, the future parking lots will alleviate this problem. In the meantime, enjoy our little piece of heaven here on... More

I wanted to see what this was after going on trip advisor. So my boyfriend and I went. We parked on the side of the road, you can't miss it when you drive by. Then it was a walk to where the gateway was. Once we got there it was a very cool area because down the pathway is 2... More

There is nothing quite like this. It's an interesting structure but it's somewhat dilapidated. Looks like renovations may be underway. When you pass it you are taken to a pleasant tree lined path and parkland. The tower at mohonk mountain house can be seen in the distance at the top of the hill.

A beautiful site and just a short walk from the road was there this fall as the leaves were turning and had a great time with the camera.

Visited on a overcast November day. I have a old post card of the gateway when it was in use so we had to stop and see the place. The building is closed. The architecture and construction is cool to see, not much is built like that anymore. Worth a short walk and a 20 minutes.
