Nice park located in the town. Fishing, walking paths and playgrounds. Pavilions can also be reserved. Only complaint is that yummy have to buy a pass. Passes are discounted for town residence.

The walking trails are very peaceful and rustic. You can also rent a row boat to tour the lake. Playgrounds for letting the kids let for steam. Leashed pets are welcome.

We had a beautiful walk around the lake on an autumn afternoon and it was ablaze with color. The terrain is reasonable flat with only 2 small uphills, but several benches along the way to rest on.

Chadwick Lake is a lovely park, including a large playground, lake, basketball courts and a 3-mile gravel and dirt trail around the lake, perfect for picnics, walks and just relaxing.

The 4 1/4 mile trail around the lake is very nice. It has mile markers, some ups and downs, but lots of level ground and a lot of shade for these hot days. Benches and rest stops along the trail. Nice playground for the kids....More

Been here many times and enjoy all they have to offer. They have walking trails, rowboats, fishing, picnic area and a pavilion with tables that can be rented out. Need to be a resident and seniors can rent a rowboat for free.

Yes there are fees for both residents and non- residents. You can see the fees at the Town of Newburgh's website for Parks and Recreation. If you enter in the car of a (paid up) resident, there is no fee as I understand it... More

This is for area residents only? Is there no way a visitor can get just a day pass? I was thinking I would visit it, but a walk around a lake isn't worth $40.
