We stopped in here because it was part of our discovery package. The kids enjoyed running around and looking at different things. But overall, i'm not sure it added much to our day. We had already hiked a part of the Gorge trail the day before. We left in a hurry because the trolley was there and we didn't want... More

I was disappointed because 2 of the exhibits didn't work. The others were very interesting. Many were reachable by kids, and that was cute. I hope they can reinvest the ticket profits back into the Center.

We went here because it was part of the ticket package we had purchased. We had already read about much of what was there so it didn't really add a lot to the Niagara experience. The movie is really in need of an update. The can't miss in this area is the ruins of the Schoellkopf Power Station. The elevator... More

Discovery center is very informative, but be ready to read alot. Lots of information to be withheld. The video upon arrival is definately worth it and informative. Explains some of the history of the falls, how the power is generated, etc. Once going down to the gorge, you're given a pamphlet for a self guided tour. It was very good... More

Not many people at all where in here when we were. A lot of volunteers in here that can answer a lot of your questions. The pictures of what used to be here I haven't seen anywhere else. If nothing else you should visit here to see those. They have fun little interactive things for kids and adults alike.

The people are extremely nice and the cost to get in is very reasonable. It was easily accessible by the free shuttle and the elevator to the bottom of the gorge was within a few feet outside the building. Definitely go and take the elevator to the bottom of the gorge. The views are wonderful.

History lovers will like this place to know about the history of Niagara falls (How Lake is connected between Canada & USA , How Rainbow Bridge was fallen down and when it was constructed back, how the power plant is setup , etc.,, Nearby you have power plant downward lift - through which you can go down and take a... These folks are trying, but the center needs a complete overhaul. Not clear whether it is run by NYS Parks or a private organization. Some good ideas for exhibits, but all are tired and patched together. Many electronic and physical interactive activities were broken. The film was informative- might have been worth the $3 admission.

To be honest, the place looks kinda out-dated. They have a pretty cool short film about Niagara Falls that they show. The actual discovery center doesn't have much to do. Honestly all you need is about 30 minutes (including the 20 minute video) at this place. I would go here if you're interested in the geology behind this place, and... More

From the movie they show to all of the exhibits, this place is a waste of time. The only benefit was that it had AC on a hot day. Don't bother with this place.
