I have not been on the maid of the mist for about 15 years. Took some friends who were visiting and remembered just how cool it was to ride so close to the falls. Friends enjoyed it very much. Do expect to get wet.

It was amazing to be the inside the falls in the boat. Thrilling ride. We were in the front so we got little wet. Enjoyed it very much.

I live in Niagara Falls and I try to "get on the boat" at least every other year. It never fails to be awe inspiring. Be prepared to get wet! But don't miss this when you're in Niagara Falls.

it's best to go on the Maid of the Mist website and check their hours of operation. There is definitely Limited hours during the off-season but I don't know if they close entirely in the winter

In the platform around the docking area there is a washroom. Before you reach the boat there will be a view deck make sure to check that too.
