I visited Niagara falls with my parents in June. The falls are magnificent and maid of the mist makes you experience its true beauty. The experience is totally worth it even if there are long lines (which may be huge, especially during long weekends). You...More

We went to Niagara for the day from Toronto (an easy drive) and pre-booked Maid of the Mist, not knowing that there are now TWO companies who do this ride/cruise. So be aware: Maid of the Mist is from the USA side, and HORNBLOWER Cruises...More

Had a great time with my family on the Maid of the Mist! The lines were extremely well managed and the wait time was not long. I do think that’s because of the time of the year, so consider that. The experience was immersive! The...More

The 20 minute tour was well organized and so worth the view!! Ponchos are given before boarding the boat; and they recycle them at the end!! Highly recommend!!

If you visit Niagara Falls, you have to do this! You can feel the power of the falls. The boat sits for a while at the bottom of the falls. You will get wet, even with the poncho. It's a blast!

This boat trip gets you up close and personal with the Falls. It leaves from the USA side and takes about twenty minutes. Prepared to get wet although plastic ponchos are provided. The price also includes admission to the Observation Deck. It’s well worth the...More

If you do only one thing in Niagara Falls, do this! We went on a Monday afternoon and there was not a long wait at all. Everything seems like they are keeping it as traditional as possible. You get the feeling that we had the...More

The Maid of the Mist operates from the USA side of the Falls so if that’s where you’re based, you don’t need a passport. But you will need documentation if you’re crossing from Canada.

You wear a poncho . Your dog sling could remain under the poncho but not sure if the dog would enjoy that very much. Without the poncho you and your dog would get very wet.
