The walk starts at the parking lot and you go through the visitor center. You walk over a bridge and walk along the river that becomes the American Falls. The water is very turbulent. The power is impressive. At the end of the trail, you get to the American Falls and can walk over the Bridal Veil falls. The view... More

We loved the views of Niagara Falls from the Canadian side, but thought the view from the American side was just as impressive and we loved that it was all parkland, instead of built up tourist sites. Watching the water flow from the river down the American Falls is so impressive.

Everyone who enjoys State Parks will absolutely love NFSP. Included is a wonderful River GreenWay. Skaters, cyclist, walkers, runners, and joggers will love breaking in new gear and shoes while enjoying nice weather and the company of others.

We visited this place in the morning and found people from various nationalities and colours, which showed its popularity across the world. People were seen from all age groups. Few people were seen doing meditation and few were seen practicing Tai Chi.

We visited in April and were really impressed by how beautiful and green this park is. It was clean and had pretty landscaping. The view from the top of the American falls is awesome. There's a visitors' center in the park and the overlook from the Maid of the Mist area.

Our daughter was traveling with us to visit colleges and she had never been to Niagara Falls. We decided to venture out another 30 minutes to visit the park. The state park is free admission, but they do charge parking. It's $10 unless you arrive or stay past 5pm. We were there until 5:30ish so we didn't have to pay... More

The shear power of it wow! These falls have been flowing since the last ice age. It's a lot of water every minute of every day. Pretty cool at night too with the lights.

If ever the park and its surroundings were entertaining and attractive then that must have been in the 1980s because it doesn't look like anything is more recent then that. Of all the state parks i visited this was by far the worst looking and maintained. Such a pity because the falls are absolutely gorgeous and a sight to see.

This place is definitely not stroller friendly and for someone who can't physically tote a 21 pound baby around it was a horrific experience. If my husband had be with me it might have been a different story but he wasn't. I was out to have a fun educational time with my oldest child. We hadn't done much since the... More
