One mistake we see tourist make is not having the proper footwear or clothing on the trail. Although the area is well travelled, there are many slippery sections and uneven ground. Bring some water to drink and please take your garbage out with you to allow other to enjoy their time there.

We did not plan this part of the trip but decided to take a ride before heading home and this was an experience I will surely never forget. Worth the short drive from the falls.

Took the elevator down to the river, found the trail sign. It is a mile long hike. Very strenuous so make sure you have good shoes on. Beautiful views of the river and the countryside.

I absolutely love this trail. Just to warn those interested it is a 3 out of 5 trail as it does get steep and rocky. But it is a must as the scenery is breathtaking and once you get down to the rapids it is amazing to see how blue the water is. I recommend this trail to family and... More

I've been going here since I was a small child. We have loved walking the Niagara gorge trail for many reasons; the beauty and history among them. Years ago this was a little known trail, but now I see a bunch of people climbing the stairs! Be warned that it can be dangerous, so I wouldn't bring little kids. But... More

We chose the easy trail which is the Great Gorge Scenic Trail, which is trail #4. It starts to the side of the Discovery Center building on Robert Moses Parkway. The only kind of walking I do is on level city concrete. I was a bit hesitant to even try this trail, but it really is an easy trail. There... More

When you see such a marvelous beauty as this site, how can anyone doubt that their is a GOD! Seeing those Class VI rapids were breathtaking!! Then, the real highlight was the whirlpool caused by the merging of all the waters of the Niagara River to the neck of Lake Ontario. Our tour guide with Greyline Tours (Prady) did an... More

I was really impressed by the visit to this Great wonders of the world, this was one of my first visit to to Niagara falls, the route to this place was assisted by use of the GPs via the Buffalo town, we had an overnight there just to enjoy the night firework on the Canadian side, unfortunately i couldn't cross...
