Visited as part of a day trip around the island. Stunning place. If we come again, I'd hire a vehicle and spend longer here including swimming in the pool...

Another stop on our day trip around Sal. The sea wasn't rough but a reasonable good swell giving some nice breaking waves. The attraction is a pool through which there is a light blue hole. The shop and bar were better than most (+ toilets).

The place is beautiful to go for a swim in really blue waters , but expect lots of tourists at lunch time when the sun is on goos pisition to see the "hole".

The blue eye when visible is not that big of a deal. There are however one amazing tide pole for swimming. Crystal clear water and the possibility of jumping in from cliffs. Bar/shop/restaurant available.

We visit Buracona as part of an island tour arranged by our tour operator. There is a walkway that allows you to move about across the rocks (although I don't think it would be easily accessible to those with disabilities), where you can stop off to see the 'Blue Eye' water effect - nice, but a minute is sufficient to... Buracona is a lovely place to visit. It cost about €3 to get in and had beautiful sea views and a natural cove which you can swim in if the water is calm. Unfortunately on our visit we were unable to swim as it was too dangerous. Apart from that there is also the blue eye I believe it was... More

We visited the Blue Eye at Buracona during an island visit, and were lucky enough to catch to deep blue colour of the water in the cave : it can only be seen on a sunny day between about 12.30 and 3.30. There is also a lovely lagoon tucked away that you can swim in provided the sea is fairly... More

We were lucky enough to visit on a day where the waves were spectacular, and the "washing machine" effect was fantastic! We even got to see the blue eye. The day trip around the island was worth it for this visit alone. Can't understand the people complaining about admission fees - they have to get money from somewhere to pay... More
