When we first arrived in Etretat, we almost turned around due to the incoming traffic, narrow roads, and almost non-existent parking. Don't leave!! There is overflow parking above the town. A short walk will bring you to the shoreline and the wonderful scenic cliffs (falaise)....More

This is an amazing landscape, totally worth a visit if you are in the neighborhood. It can be very windy over there, and the sea is quite wild. We climbed to the top of one cliff, the paths are well done and quite easy. We...More

The weather was changing from rain to wind. But it does not matter for me. It was one of my big dream to see this place from Monet paintings. I arrived to Étretat from La Havre by bus (takes about hour and just 2 euro)....More

You can hear the sound of feet crunching on pebbles ricochet off the cliffs. We walked up the left hand side cliffs to get views of the elephant cliff on the right. It's a lovely walk with numerous places to stop and admire the stunning...More

You will fall in love with this place, very nature and romantic place, the formation of the Etretat WOW. You can walk from top to bottom as there are many restaurants there.

Incredible cliffs at either end of a pebble beach are worth the visit. Monet painted them numerous times, and it's easy to see the attraction. We were there on a rainy, windy day and they were amazing.

Nice, compact beach. We could not manage to go all the way up to the 'Elephant', but could see it from the beach. Just an amazing view.

Very busy beach - amazing pebbled beach - not allowed to take any pebbles. People were swimming and surfing, sailing. Lovely walks up the cliffs.

The view is free. If you drive up to view it from the church overlook, parking is free. If you view it from the beach, there is free visitor's parking at the beach as well.

Hello Melissa, No need to book for a tour or anything, just find a way to be there and that's it. It's a very small village/city/ suburb (don't know exactly what to call it. other than the Falaises, it's only couple of... More
