You don’t come to Normandy without spending some time at this natural wonder of the world filled with history. Suggest getting here early, particularly in the summer, to park and enjoy at your leisure.

We visited here while on a Vantage river cruise in mid-June 2018. We travelled by bus from Le Havre to Fecamp and then here to the coastal resort town of Etretat on the English Channel in Upper Normandy. The white cliffs and two natural arches...More

For the car it was difficult to find a parking space. After about one hour, you can stroll on the beach and the cliffs. On the beach there are several places where you can enjoy a cold drink.

Although the path could be better maintained by the town, it was quite enjoyable and scenic to climb the cliffs on the south side of the town. I wish that we had had time to climb the hill at the north end of town to...More

We stopped at Etretat on our way to Honfleur. It was a very cute city with a lot of shopping and dining. The hike along the cliff was amazing. I even discovered a tunnel below the cliff along one of the descending stairs. The views...More

We spent four days here and it was a dream. The hike along the coast is amazing, the town is cute, there's a beach along the coast past the crowded tourist area. This is one of the most beautiful places we've ever been.

We looked at this impressive cliff from the pebble beach down below. You can walk up and around, and you can spend a short or long time here. It was beautiful to be and sit here.

This is our second visit to Etretat and I cannot seem to get enough of this very surreal beauty of nature. From the promenade to the blue waters to the white cliffs, every thing is so majestic no wonder Claude Monet would visit to paint...More

I’d park in the center of town right by the beach. That way you’d be close to both cliff sides.

You can walk everywhere in Etretat. It is very small. We parked our car and never moved it the whole weekend. Enjoy!
