One of the best days I had was there. Oia is definaely more expensive than Fira but the good thing is that you do not need to be in a restaurant to enjoy the beautiul scene. Just make sure to arrive early and grab your spot!

Picture postcard and every other cliche fits this experience. Unique location, lots of local color and flavor, lots of stylish tourists, niche arty shops, great food and drink, and grand views all around. Fabulous weather too.

We took a coach trip from Kamari and had a wonderful day, topped off by our fabulous sunset view from Oia. This is the most magical place and we were certainly not disappointed - a 'must do' for anyone visiting Santorini!!

From any part of the island with Caldera view everyone can enjoy the magical sunset of Santorini! Oia is the most popular site and especially the castle of Oia which is at the highest spot. I've never seen a more beautiful view in my life, it is incomparable, the most unique combination of the colours of nature and the Aegean... More

If you are there is a must see location. The tours on the island are including the sunset, but if you don't take a planned tour, you will know when and from where you can see it. There are a lot of free places on the streets of Oia, or you can see it from one of the nearby restaurants... More

One of the most amazing sunsets I have ever seen! Did not enjoy the town as much though. As soon as the sunset was over we went to Thira to enjoy the rest of the night.

It is a world famous site to see sunset. You need to stay there early as it will be very crowded. One option is to stay in a hotel at Oia, so that you can enjoy the sunset in your room, and visit the town as well.

I've seen lots of sunsets. However, sunsets in Oia were consistently by far the most spectacular and breathtaking. No matter where you are on the island the sunset stops you in your tracks and demands your attention. See it in as many places, and as many times, as you can on the island.

Wow the crowds. We took an excursion to Oia to see the famous sunsets, they are indeed very nice, but what we remember from this trip is throngs of people, beginning to crowd around the best parts of Oia for sunset view about three hours before the sunset! In our opinion it was nicer and less commercial to see a... More
