Stopped in here as a side to a destination stop. There is plenty to see and do for about two hours. A tour of the tugboat was great. The view of the lighthouse was obstructed by a giant pile of sand but not a big...More

This is a very good small-town museum. Lots of information and the layout was nice. There are two boats docked that you will tour and those are informative and good. The definite negative was the young girl cashier. She had no personality and had absolutely...More

On an adventure with my husband; seeing what ships Christopher Columbus sailed across the sea on. A site that not too many can say they've seen. We were two of them that did.

This is not a huge museum. They recommended 1.5 hours to view. But we managed to stayed for 5 hours. We first went on the 45 minute boat ride on the wooden antique boat. WONDERFUL, our Captain was great and the experience was noteworthy. We...More

We headed to the H. Lee White Marine Museum. We had no problems to park our car. We paid the fee and entered into the museum. It was quite small, still it was quite interesting! We saw some old canoes and lots of history, concerning...More

This is a nice little surprise. It is small, but worth a visit. We especially enjoyed seeing the old dugout canoes and lighthouse lens. And then there's the LT5 from D-DAY invasion. Great to see and board this great tug. Only one left. If a...More

This may be a tiny museum, however it is loaded with interesting history and information. Sometimes there are special ships docked right nearby as well. A bit of underground history is there also besides maritime information.

The museum at the end of the pier is full of information you may not know about life on the water, and has a lot of interactive displays. There are several moored boats that you can tour with a guide. There is a trip offered...More
