I tried the Dry Riesling at a local restaurant and knew I had to stop at this vineyard. My husband and I were absolutely thrilled at our visit. Not the best greeting by any means during Mardi Gras weekend when walking in but Big Bob...More

Thirsty owl has some of my favorite wines in the Fingerlakes. The tasting is cheap and if you buy a bottle, you get $2 back towards it. The views of the lake are awesome as well!

Had lunch there yesterday. I ordered the "crustless quiche" with a salad. Why not just call it an omelette? Oh, I know why! An omelette might cost $7.00 but Thirsty Owl can charge $16.00 by removing the crust. Save your money, don't eat there.

Although the view was beautiful the wines were average at best. It was like an assembly line and the workers knowledge of their wines was nonexistent.

The gewurtztraminer was dry, crisp and very characteristic of the grape. We also enjoyed the Chardonnay, and the Pinot noir. This winery is well organized, and has the friendliest dog. The dog is extremely well-behaved.

This was our first vineyard stop during our week at the Finger Lakes. The Traminette was probably my favorite in the tasting.. tasting was inexpensive and the bartender was pretty liberal about letting you test out the wines. Good service at the bar, informative and...More

Thirsty Owl proved to be a mass location for busses and hordes of tourists. The vast tasting room is more an assembly line for wine tasting. Wine knowledge of the staff was, in our case, non-existent.
