We found Raphael in the list of top 10 vineyards on the Northshore. We were the first to arrive on a Sunday late morning/early afternoon. We ordered the charcuterie platter -- a ton of food & tried 2 different types of red. We settled on a bottle (gosh I can't remember which one) but it had a high wine spectator... More

Usually go to this winery on a Sunday as they have been having music. No cover charge to get in. Plenty of seating. Nice environment. Glasses range from $8 upward. Tastings around $20. Nice selection. Also have table / food service. The sausage flatbread pizza is great (although small portion). Check before you plan to go as sometimes it is... More

Always a great musical day and wine tasting. Sadly they now will not allow outside food. Not a problem, they accommodated me and allowed me to bring my gluten free crackers. Great day, music and friends.

Who would ever think the Northeast part of the USA made wine. We know California is well known for it's Mediterranean like climate and good wines. However, back East we have some great vineyards here. Raphael vineyard is one of them, on Long Island,NY. They give a guided tour of the grounds, and a wine tasting of four of their... More

Came here after the new year's because of the beautiful building. I was a bit disappointed with the tasting though. The women behind the counter kept mentioning the membership, even though I wasn't interested. The sheet they have with tasting didn't give good descriptions of the wine and neither did the people serving it. It just put out what awards... More

The food was amazing - So much food! If you left hungry then you just did something wrong. The staff was very nice and the owners are equally awesome. The event space is old world and stunning.

Raphael is definitely the best looking winery I have been to on the Northfork. The decor is beautiful and detailed and we got to learn about what when into the building of the winery during our tour. We had a group of six for our tour and it was a wonderful experience. It was very nice to learn about the... More

This space is beautiful, but the staff ignored us. We were a large group, and they simply pointed us to the area that was reserved for us, and we had to hunt them down to come back and move us to our next tastings. Many of our group just helped themselves to the bottles that were left.

Raphael Winery is the closest I have been to being back in Napa. Not only are the grounds and tasting room beautiful, but the wine is the best in North Fork. I also believe the wines here are very reasonably priced.
