The Walkway is worth the trip 👍! Great views up and down the Hudson River as well as of the City. You need an hour if you want to experience the full span.

A great way to spend a sunny and warm Autumn day walking over the majestic Hudson River via the Walkway from the Highland, NY side to the Poughkeepsie, NY side. The Mid-Autumn foliage is magnificently splendid.

Good walk but the signage was not informative and visitor centres still be built. Surprised by the number of vehicles going over the pedestrian bridge.

We went for the Fourth of July and it was absolutely beautiful! The fireworks over the water were amazing. Right before that, we were able to watch the sun set and it was so magical. Definitely worth visiting in the evening in the summer!

The views every season are wonderful... well worth the time to walk across. What a wonderful use of an old railroad bridge!?,
