The George Eastman Museum is located in Rochester, New York, on the estate of George Eastman, the pioneer of popular photography and motion picture film. Founded in 1947 as an independent nonprofit institution, it is the world's oldest photography museum and one of the oldest film archives. The place is very appealing and very comfortable. Our tour guide was absolutely excellent a very friendly woman who had grown up in Rochester and was able to give us a bit more history then I'm sure was in her training

The last time I visited this museum I was a child they have changed a lot and it was a great date spot. Quiet, beautiful, historical with an artistic gallery and pictures that change frequently.

Yes, the museum is handicap accessible through certain entrances, and does have an elevator to get to the second floor.
