What an awesome zoo! The animal collection is super diverse and so clearly well-loved and taken care of. There is a strong educational message, and conservation and community involvement is well-represented, too. You definitely need to visit!

What a great place for families! We took our 18 month old yesterday and she had a blast. So much room to run around, very family friendly with changing tables in both the men's and women's restrooms. Plenty of snack bars and water fountains! For...More

The zoo is small, but much larger than I expected. The exhibits are fun and interactive (I especially liked the van in the lion exhibit). The animals were very active when we went. It was a cool day, so they were all out basking in...More

While the zoo was smaller than others we have visited, we enjoyed seeing the animals and some of the exhibits were very nicely done.

Second time here, and disappointed this time. Positives: Clean, and family friendly, elephant and lion exhibit were nice. Negatives: Many exhibits (otter, polar bear, rhino, tiger, sea lion, etc) had only one animal (the polar bear is 28 years old and lazy. Only saw it...More

May not be one of the biggest zoos around, though it is well worth the admissions price. Wonderful day spent sterling hand in hand with my boyfriend enjoying the beautiful weather, the frisky animals, the excitement of young children visiting with their parents...absolutely amazing!

Kids of all ages enjoy the zoo. I have been going here for the past 14 years, and I will most likely go for another 14 or more. Always fun to see the animals and their young.

Strong believer in conservation but sadly this zoo left us disappointed - the pens way too small and some of the animals showing signs of restricted patterns

The kids do love going here but I feel sad for some of the animals. Especially the Orangutans. They need a much bigger space than they have. They always looks so sad. I hope they will do some renovations soon.

Is there a lot of indoor stuff to do for two hours or so if it's too cold out to do the outdoor exhibits? Thanks

Depends on the time of year. This time, it is $12 for an adult, and was $9 for my daughter who is 5. They have a website where they list the pricing and the dates. It's open year round.

Hi, it depends on interest (and weather), eg longer stay at seal / polar bear underground observatory on a hot day or Safari bus observation deck on a cool day. Half day is a good length, even if you don't see everything... More
