This is one of my favorite spots in Rochester. The view of the city is lovely and the reservoir makes for a lovely walk on a nice day. Best of all, it's close to plenty of great places both downtown and in the suburbs. Recently,...More

I have walked around the reservoir many times. The only reason it might interest a tourist is the fact that it has the best view of downtown Rochester for photographers looking southwest from a spot near the road around the reservoir.

Cobbs Hill Park is a favorite from my childhood and still is. There are ball fields, lots of swing sets and jungle gyms, plenty of green grass for playing and the pond for winter ice skating.

I live close by and find the park to be a good place to enjoy a walk around the reservoir. The path around is about .70 of a mile. There is parking around the outside of road. No bathroom there up top which is unfortunate

Cobbs Hill Park is a hard one to describe because it is so many different things. Down low, next to Route 490, there are five very nice softball fields, along with jungle gyms and things for the kiddies. Also down there is a basketball court...More
