I love waterfalls because I find them peaceful and naturally beautiful, so since this waterfall is in the middle of a city I find it a bit commercial for my taste, BUT it is still such an impressive and easily accessible waterfall to see. It...More

We were visiting friends and were taken to the high falls. Interesting area, the "flour" district. It would have been great to see the old waterwheels, but they were removed. I think this area has great potential, but they falls on a nice day were...More

This is one of the most picturesque scenes in the city -whatever time of year you visit, it is worthwhile.

Went in January early in the AM, and walked the pedestrian bridge. Pretty cool walk high above the river. Surrounding areas along the riverbank are run down and need of work. Nothing too spectacular.

Beautiful to see at night with the falls lit in different colors. Need to walk half way or 3 quarters of the way across if entering from Browns Race to have the best view. Can park in garage or street parking if space available.

This is a truly fantastic natural wonder...a high waterfall, within a natural walled experience. The Genesee Brewery is also right there for enjoyment.

The scenery here (in the middle of the City of Rochester) is beautiful. It just sucks that the neighborhood surrounding it is not even decent...its more like scary! If you go...go during the day and bring a travel companion, a cell phone, pepper spray and/or...More
