Came here on a brutally hot day and probably because of this the park was not crowded. There are more rides for little ones than I expected and my soon to be 4yr old daughter had a great time. There are small roller coasters, merry...More

I have to admit I was a little leery about joining my daughter's and 7 grandchildren on a day trip to Rye Beach and Playland. After a day at the beach we went to Playland at 5:00 when the wristbands were $15. The kids ranged...More

The rides look old. There are only few rides for young children. The arcade was small and so many of the games were broken. The games outside there mini arcade were closed except the basketball game and the water gun shoot where who ever gets...More

If you live in the Five Boroughs or Westchester, you can't beat the close proximity that Rye Playland affords you. Nostalgic rides, good music, and a fun atmosphere; the only pitfall is the overpriced concessions that seem to make you question why.....!

It's especially beautiful right now. I was there today. There are beautiful flowers and landscaping. Lots of food choices. Great rides too. The boardwalk is lots of fun for dog walking and running. I think they overdid the trash cans every 40 feet or so...More

Went on a Wednesday in July with two 9 year olds. It's changed very little over the years. The park itself is beautiful and maintained adequately, a very small touch of seedy is part of the charm. 6 Flags this is not so if you're...More

I'm quite biased towards this cozy little amusement park. Remembering back more than the years I wish to mention, I recollect my father driving us to the park being pulled over for speeding on the "parkway" . That's my first memory. I assume the speed...More

From what I remember when taking our under 4 year old to the park most of the kiddy rides didn't have height restrictions. Just to be safe call the park. Why ruin a nice outing.

There is definitely enough for your 4 year old. There is Kiddy Land which has tons of rides for toddlers.

You are permitted to renter the park on a day ticket so it is not essentail to take food into the grounds. It is not a large site so easy to enter and leave.
