The venue was under construction so the night's perfomance was being held at The Grove which was really beautiful! It had been an old seminary or something and the historical renovation was impressive. I was sad I did not get to see the real Caffe Lena but it was fine. It's all about the music here- the line up coming... More

Coffee bar/jazz club situated in an historic building currently under much-needed renovations to modernize the location and bring it up to building code. Currently open in The Grove on Lake St while the renovations are underway. In the old venue, it was strictly no alcohol, but they served hot and cold teas and coffees as well as excellent desserts like... More

The Rosin the Beaux folks went out to Caffe Lena to go and see Steve and Cindy perform music for an audience. The music was very good, and I had a very good frozen iced tea.

Stopped at Lena’s in March for a show. Also been here for two other shows. What an outstanding venue to see local and national acts up close and personal! There is no bad seat in the place. Rather small, Lena's seats maybe 80 people. Most tables seems to seat 4 people; they are just big enough for drinks/snacks. Coffee is... More

I have been here in August and Dec of 2015. Both times were great. The place is small, which I like. The first time I had a table right next to the stage. Ticket prices are very reasonable. The Christmas show was $20 (Sat. night) I think. The show was sold out. A can of coke was $2.75. The staff... More

Great intimate show by Griffin House May 3rd. Such a small venue with great sound ... not a bad seat in the house.

The snacks they serve are fresh and the hot beverages are delicious. You should take some time to sit and relax as you enjoy a bite out of your pastry while taking it all in.

It was back to the 60s for me!! I loved going to Caffe Lena with its excellent acoustics and an authentic 1960s atmosphere, apparently unchanged for decades. The brochure states "Good Folk since 1960" and we really enjoyed our evening in this intimate space along with the company of an enthusiastic but well behaved audience. The musicians were top drawer... More

This is the place to hear acoustic and other performances in a intimate environment while seated at a table where you can enjoy a coffee or tea and perhaps a bite to eat. I cannot think of any other venue like it. Most places have rows of folding chairs. I like to sketch in my notebook so the tables are... More

Caffe Lna is a classic. What it lacks in alcohol (none, typical of the great coffee houses) it more than makes up for in vibe. We saw Dom Flemons at his Caffe Lena debut and he is awesome!
