Been here countless times and it’s a gem of a theatre. New York Broadway productions at half the price. I would suggest it should be on everyone’s bucket list.

We attended the Jacques and Claudine Pepin Master Chef lecture this April at Proctor's Theater. We had a very fun night, and thought the theater was beautiful. We have a historical theater in our home town, but it is nothing like Proctor's. The seating was...More

I have been to Proctors many times over the years and it never fails to impress me. The old style charm of the decor is great. The volunteer staff is always super helpful and there is not a bad seat in the theater. Most recently...More

Beautiful old theater, seating a bit small depending on location can mean limited leg room. Can be a wait for ladies room during intermission with limited bathroom facilities in the theater.

I was very disappointed in the quality of the movie Star Trek II. Film very grainy and dark. Sound was no better than a Hi-Fi set back in the 50's. On the other hand the question and answer session with William Shatner was great. Probably...More

I started going to Proctors in the early 1970's, as a teenager, to see movies. After having been out of State for 37 years, I recently returned and saw a musical at Proctors in February, 2018, and we just loved the theater. It has not...More

Was in the states on a business trip staying close by. We decided to go see Les Mis. The theatre has a great atmosphere, very old fashioned from the architecture to the confectionery with a classy vintage style to it. The show was excellent, amazing...More

Over the course of my years living in the area, Proctors is an amazing venue for concerts, comedians, Broadway musicals, plays, dance groups etc. The theater is beautiful; the staff is helpful. There are many places to eat in Schenectady right near the theater on...More

With parking and restaurants nearby, it's always an enjoyable experience. The nearby garage is always free during shows. Quality if talent is very good.

Great show, beautiful theater, not much else to do around town that we could find with teenagers but the show was superb and the seats were comfortable and staff were friendly. Good venue.

I don't know. When attending a performing arts program I tend to favor the balcony for visual and acoustical reasons. I'd like to hear about the experiences of others who had orchestra seats during a musical production.
