What a wonderful night out when you view a show at the Stanley Theater. The shows are top quality and the Theater is quite an awesome sight to behold on it's own. The decor is of an age when Theater was glamorous.

We have one of the most beautiful theaters in the Northeast. It has undergone extensive renovations and offers many programs. We have Broadway plays, musical acts, fund raisers for charitable organizations, and many more functions. The theater has been selected by companies to put their plays together from the very beginning .

The Stanley Center for the Arts was originally a movie theatre. It has undergone many renovations but still has the old world charm from 100 years ago. The seating is comfortable and the sound and lighting systems are great. The stage is huge and can be seen from any angle including the balcony. Check out the giant stained glass chandelier... More

I love everything about this venue! There have been a wide variety of shows that were all enjoyable in this beautifully restored theater, in downtown Utica. It is a treat to have such an amazing place to enjoy local talent as well as concerts etc. Allow some extra time to park, you may have to walk a block or more.... More

We visited the Stanley Center for a concert last night and were impressed with this classic theatre! The details in the architecture contained there just are not seen anymore. There is so much to take in from the wall coverings to the lighting that it's easy to miss a bit of the show you are there to see as you... More

The environment was nostalgic ,with seats that were updated and comfortable with a vintage appearance. The chandelier, curtains and decor was impressive also. the attendants were cordial and helpful. As with other venues, we found the the music much louder than necessary . Many quality surrounding restaurants offer an enjoyable extension of for the evening outing.

What a beautiful place for a concert, play, or movie. Great sound and most of all the decor is beautiful! We have been to at least 20 different shows and enjoyed each and everyone. The upstairs balcony is a little tight for seating.
