We stopped into the brewery bar for a drink before dinner. Absolutely in love with the place!! The decor was beautiful and the bartender was great. Sampled a bunch of beer before settling on the pale ale with clementine. Definitely a place to go and savor the history!!!

This Brewery Tour has always been a highlight of many family outings. Some areas are not geared up for handicapped people. The old fashioned Pub is fun for all.

The Saranac Brewery tour, or Utica Club tour as it's known to most is a fun trip. You get to see all the work that goes into making beer. At the end you get to sample some of it if you are over 21. Younger folks get to taste the Root Beer that is made there too. It's a fun... More

Had Nick as our tour guide and he was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the brewery. Gave the history of the family and his thoughts on the beer styles. Always good to end the tour with some samples.

We had about 50 people in our group. It was fun to learn about the Brewery's history. There are many interesting antiques throughout the tour. The guide could have spoke more slowly and louder. The pace of his speech was so fast, we asked him to slow down, but that only lasted for a little while. Otherwise, I would suggest... More

Every summer we would your the brewery. They have changed so much that it's not much fun anymore. No more trolley, the tavern is not nostalgic and it used to be 2 free beers or rootbeers. Just not that great, anymore.53rd c.f.

Had a great time doing the brewery tour. The history of the Brewery as well as the interior décor was very unique. With the $5.00 purchase of the tour ticket you get a guided tour and two cold glasses of beer or soda at the back in time bar. Picked up some cool items at the gift shop. The tour... More

This is a good glimpse at the way an "older" medium sized brewery functions with a insight into the history of brewing beer! The tour begins in souvenir shop. The brewery foot print is made up of 19th century as well as 20th century buildings. Tour parking is available on either side of the shop. As with most brewery tours... More

Lots of walking on this tour through the whole brewery. Plenty of history in this old plant and artifacts along the way through it. Really enjoyable and not a rush through type of tour. Very enjoyable and you end in the large barroom area where you can sample some suds or sodas in a fun atmosphere to end your tour.
