Absolutely must see. We biked from the Confederation Trail - last km or so difficult due to the rough road, but absolutely worth the 10 km ride to the Park. Had never been on a floating boardwalk before, so was amazed that it was so sturdy. Since it was a hot day, the beach on the other side of the dunes was a perfect way to relax for a while. Do not miss Greenwich if you travel to this side of the island

Wandering the trails through this PEI National park to the sea is a great way to spend a half day (or more). I am sure that the ambiance changes with the weather to make each visit unique, there are two trails and boardwalks, one to St. Peter’s bay and the other to Greenwich Beach. Relatively flat and well groomed so an easy walk for all. The beach is spectacular and walkable and when I went in July the bayside walk had a myriad of wildflowers. Recommend for a pleasant little hike.

Love Greenwich! This is definitely one of my favourite places to visit on the island. Beautiful hiking trails and beach area. Interpretation centre is great also although I’m sad to hear it may be closing - my kids and I enjoyed going through when they were younger. It is a clean accessible area with washrooms and stunning views. I would highly recommend!

The interpretation site was disappointing. There were four employees sitting behind a desk the whole time, one without a mask, another playing cell phone games, and two others just chatting loudly about life. Zero engagement or attempt to talk about the exhibits. We felt like we were very unwelcome. The only time they was to say good bye. Not a typical national park visit.

Stopped into this Park Canada yesterday. Its a nice drive up there. Plus there is a nice long hike to one of the beaches.

Lots of nice pictures opportunities! I highly recommend this stop to anyone!

love the boardwalk trails and the views are amazing! It's a great place for a picnic, but not much else to do other than walk. Would definitely go again soon!

My wife and I biked in the National Park. It was very scenic and interesting. We took the floating bridgeway from the park to the seashore. The seashore was beautiful.

When we arrived, it was just after Hurricane Dorian had swept away much of the beach and some of the trees of the world famous Greenwich Beach National Park near St. Peter's Bay, Prince Edward Island. This magical place was nearly deserted by this time in mid-September, and the cooler weather kept all but the hardiest souls out of the sea. Sadly, some of the infrastructure of the park was damaged, but the heroic efforts of park employees had already re-opened the main trails and boardwalks that access dunes and most of the beaches. Our weather improved such that one sunny, mild day, we felt it was almost like summer out there. Birds sang in the trees, squirrels "posed" for photos, and the subtle roar of the waves behind the dunes played over the wind in the trees. The folks at the interpretive center were very helpful, and the displays of local history and ancient history helped make our time here come alive. The facility is above expectations for it's convenience and services.

Must do! Beautiful landscape, great walk. Many people were on the first part of trail which is a dirt/gravel path that runs along the bay, pass mussel farms, through a wooded area - lovely, but doesn't compare to what follows...the floating boardwalk. This winds through a beautiful open lush pond/marsh area - bright blue water and sky contrasts against bright green vegetation. Less people on the boardwalk than dirt path which was nice - enhanced the serenity of the area. At the end of the floating boardwalk is the entrance to the beach and sand dunes which are breathtaking. We spent about an hour walking and relaxing on the beach. Amazingly, very few people ventured onto the beach and no one walked the length of it so we had it to ourselves. Like much of PEI the natural beauty of this area is like no other. Don't miss this!
