Didn't know at first what to expect when my husband took me there, but what a pleasant surprise!! Entrance fee very affordable. Museum building interesting, but being able to do a tour of this big bird was amazing, we really enjoyed every minute!! And to have a very informative and friendly tour guide (old aviation workers who volunteer their time),... More

You will travel through time to the big bird experience. The airplanes are great and the Museum building is interesting too. You can see steward uniforms and SAA serving utensils. Also you can see pictures from the early era of SA aviation.

Small museum but packed with lots of saa memorabilia. Tour guide was knolagable. A sit in the flight simulator given a quick tour over the controls makes it interesting to see how much went into flying

Whether you are an aviation fanatic or its something new, it will be time well spent visiting this museum. It allows you to get up close and personal with the aircraft in ways that would otherwise not be possible at all. The people that are involved with the museum are very passionate and have a wealth of knowledge of all... More

This is one place everyone should visit especially someone who have not been so close, touched or been in airplane. Children would find this place very exciting and intriguing. I myself also find this place fascinating. I keep going every few months and I never get bored.

In a country that places little value on museums I find it a wonderful experience to visit this place and walk through airplanes and see things that I never knew existed on aircraft that I though I knew so well from a passenger point of view. Such a pity that they have to struggle so much with funding which results... More

It was great to get out and see the historic journey of SAA, ex SAA crew and all. The aircraft are beautifully maintained and one gets a feel for air travel with SAA in their early years. The staff work on a tight budget and it is extremely cheap to get in and view the museum. They are completely self... More

A rugged museum with many attractions The history of SAA is well demonstrated in the exhibits. For those who can still remember the flights around Africa and the landings at Las palma and Ile de Sal it will be nostalgic.
