What an amazing park. Bathrooms clean and showers available. The gorge trail is truly amazing and not that difficult. Many people were there on Father's Day for the pool. Campground was good, some sites more private than others. If tenting much of the campsite we...More

This is a must see for those who love waterfalls. The hike along the gorge is fairly simple and very short (less than 2 miles on way). If you don't want people in your photos, go early in the morning. Most people were good about...More

Drove down to Watkins Glen from Geneva to see the waterfall. We were not disappointed. Challenging walk down into the gorge for a couple of old folks. Make sure you have good shoes on as the rocks can be slippery when wet. Nice views and...More

This park is well worth a visit. We walked the whole thing with ease, and never got tired of seeing the gorgeous waterfalls and rock formations. Hope to go back someday!

Shequaga Falls and Hector Falls in Montour, ny are both good choices as well as Taughannock Falls in Ithica. I don't remember Watkins Glen having anything accessible for wheelchairs

Are there railings along the gorge hike? Some of the pictures made it appear there were steps next to the gorge with no fences/rails.
