WHAT A VIEW

A must see, the lines go fast we weren't waiting for long. The lift up might be scary for some but the view is worth it.

Such a fun experience! The one person lift is so unique and the views from the top are wonderful. A great opportunity for photos! The lift really is what makes it so unique- it is 11 euros round trip and totally worth it! I would definitely recommend taking time to do this fun trip up to the top!

This was breathtaking, we took the cable car up to take in all the views and then choose to walk back down. I barely have words to describe the views, the wildlife, the landscape it was all amazing!

If you visit Capri, you have to take the chairlift from Anacapri to the top of Mt. Solaro. The ride up is about 13 minutes and allows you to see the island from a new perspective. There is a shop at the top with souvenirs and snacks. We had a blended frozen coffee drink that was delicious! The views from... More

This is a must-do on Capri! The line moves quickly. They now have refreshments at the top. Make sure to charge your phone or camera before you go :) There are also steps that lead here if you want to avoid the chair lift but I have no experience with those.

I love to see places in a different way, so i was definitely keen to do the chair lift. Worth the money! Its quite relaxing to sit high above the island and get a lovely view! Obviously dont do this if you have a fear of heights. Be careful if wearing flipflops! I took mine off on the return journey... More

One of the best places in Italy. It was difficult to get here, and the weather was pretty hot! However, with hats, sunglasses, and lots of water it can be more comfortable. The view was absolutely breathtaking!

I visited the place because blue grotto closed. First I thought it will be a silly "chair lift" journey because it looked so simple. Once arrived on the top it is totally different. We can see the best view from Capri island. Worth to try it !

We had several folks tell us that in our limited time we were wasting a lot by taking the lift to the top of the mountain - baloney. DO IT. We took the hydrofoil from Sorrento, caught a bus to Capri, and another to Anticapri. We immediately caught the chairlift to the top. This is the way to do it.... More

This was a highlight for our day in Capri. The chair lift ride up was so peaceful and the views from the top were amazing. You must do this while in Capri. Also, I found it far less crowded at the top than in the main town area.
