Yet another place that forces you to pay $20 and join a group just to climb up a lighthouse. They want $8 just to let you into the grounds where there are a few boring buildings. Good thing W.A. has a lot of fantastic free...More

The views from Cape Leeuwin over the Southern and Indian Oceans is quite spectacular...the precinct is wild and can be windswept. Very popular with international and local visitors alike - enjoyed the views - well recommended for an hour or so if you are in...More

This is a “must see” destination, although weather plays a key roll! The admission charge is entirely reasonable and comes with a very good audio guide to take round the cape. We did not ascend the lighthouse but fully enjoyed the visit - strongly recommended.

Paid aud 8 for the self guided audio tour of the lighthouse grounds. It was worth it for the views and I think it's important to support small tourist attractions for future generations. The audio guide was good and informative and I understand is programmed...More

We went on the self-audio tour which was great. A really interesting commentary about the lighthouse, the area, the weather, the animals and the families who lived there. I truly don't know how they did it back then! Spectacular views and so much history. Well-worth...More

Took the family to visit the lighthouse. Took the audio tour and the additional climb to the top. The audio tour was fine and allowed us the wander and explore prior to taking the tour. The area also is close to the point where two...More

Yes, $8 per person is cheap, but it is a pretty lame attempt to make this into more than just looking out to sea whilst standing beside a lighthouse. Charging to walk around it is therefore a farce. If you are keen to pay the...More

Yes, but only if you book a tour. You can do this online or when you get there. Alternatively you can just pay to access the grounds and viewing stations.
