Caught the train up to the Battery, itself a worthwhile experience, very well preserved gun placement, lovingly restored. Great history and knowledgeable guide. Suggest the claustrophobic stay away as the tunnel is just that.

We arrived from a guided tour group, and I was pleasantly surprised at the level of attention and renovation of www2 guns which were never fired in anger, great views as well and some great fact the gun could shoot 29 miles , amazing.
