Rottnest Salt Lakes look magnificent and are easily toured, either by foot or by a bicycle. They are located 10-15 minute walk away from the main township, giving the option for a quick visit. The view over the lakes is quite something, and the feeling...More

Rode past these salt lakes whilst on the electric bikes and was amazed to have seen my first pink lake. It was something quite special and lovely and peaceful. Would recommend the visit.

Some great organised walks which take in the lakes. The bus drivers are also able to tell you a lot about the lakes. The beauty of me going 'out of season' was that I was sometimes the only person on the bus, so had a...More

Rode past this place and on a cloudy day, it had a pink sheen to it. Lots of interesting bird species were there and when we went, signs told visitors to venture in due to nesting birds.

If you are into salt this is the place. Its flat half full of water and once was a working salt recovery lake. If you like bird spotting give it a go great selection of birds that vary month to month.
