Full fall immersion
Oct 2020
I've been there before and loved the place, but I'm completely bluffed by the latest renovations. Welcome by an impressive wooden and artistic wooden wolf, the visitor is first invited to explore and go beyond the world of imagination and terror that concretely developped 3 centuries ago in the region, before discoveing various species of wolves from gateways, wooden paths and glass windows (even now possible to sleep among the wolves). Moreover, a playground, games and interesting events on wolves or birds of prey helps spending a pleasant day. Besides, it is one of the most affordable parks in France and the regional products are above the average. The viiew is beautiful, especially during the fall.
The online reservation system could be improved, as there is limited wifi access.

Don’t go if you are an animal lover
Dec 2018 • Family
Very disappointed:
The wolves haven’t got enough space to live in.
Too many species of wolves and therefore not one species looked after well
Stinks of rotten meat and carcasses

Even the kids did not enjoy.
Not for you if you are an animal lover
It is a commercial scam selling T-shirts and all sort of gadgets rather than a place for wolves to live in
A zoo not a natural reserve unfortunately. Very disappointed
Would recommend increasing the size of the wolves living space to 10x what they have as a minimum , visiting by cars and having the wolves hunting for term self and living their own life rather than feeding them for the sake of tourists

Running with the Wolves
Jul 2018 • Family
We finally visited this park today after months of planning and shuffling to make it work. We were not disappointed. The area the park is surrounded by is incredibly beautiful and we’re glad the wolves led us here. The park itself was humane and we saw many, Many wolves up close. This has been one big highlight of our month long trip to France. Amazingly fabulous,

learned a lot in a very nice environment
Aug 2017 • Family
went with our 9 years old daughter. We dont know much about wolves and came out with some knowledges and many good memories of those beautiful animals. They are in nature and are spoiled by people caring for them. The lady we met has been working there for 15 years. Your entrance is followed by a guided tour and explanations are clear and interesting.

Interesting for all ages
Sep 2016 • Family
Recommended to take the guided tour and remain silent. Wolves are more scared of humans than vice versa so if you keep your kids yelling around or you're talking too loudly you won't spot them.

A recommended visit for all animal lovers but dog/wolf admirers in particular.

Nice park. Dangerous road.
Jul 2017 • Friends
This park is nice because wolves can live in more or less "natural" environment vs the usual zoo. That's the great point. There are also quite a few types and even though you will not be able to see each one up close, you still should be able to spot them in the "wild".
The bad part is the road around the park. It's very steep, with debris and rocks and practically a slide, if you are not paying very close attention. Just in a few minutes I saw dozens of kids slippering or out right falling down. So if you have health concerns or problems climbing steep hills, avoid this place. The park did install some stairs and wooden roads, but those are not in a good condition and not really clean. So yeah, come here only if you are in a very good shape, and buy bunch of band aids for the kids.

Dir Sir or Madam, Many thanks for taking time to give some advices to our visitors. I can't agree with you concerning the dozens of kids slippering... I was there and most of them were just playing. Concerning our stairs and wooden roads, they are in very good conditions and most of our visitors do appreciate them. Of course you are right fot one thing, we are in Lozère and In Lozère the slopes are quite important.. it's better to have good walking shoes .... consider you are going out for a walk in the wild... with some slopes. Many thanks again. Best regards, The manager.

Beautiful Wolves
Sep 2016 • Couples
I would like to point out to all the naysayers that this attraction is very obviously run for the benefit of the wolves. If you want to see animals easily then go to a zoo! At Les Loups du Gevaudan you have the oportunity to see almost wild wolves and should regards it as a priveledge, they are shy. The magic of catching a glimpse of these majestic animals through the trees is something you will not easily forget. If you go with a guide, yes you will get a lot of information, in french obviously and they feed them so they come closer, but we walked around alone and I shall not forget spotting the first wolf. Take binoculars if you have them.

Beautiful nature
Aug 2016 • Family
The entrance is not expensive and includes free parking. The wolves have a lot of space. Besides the wolves there are voltures living in wild.
Really nice.

But then, the food facility is very very poor. The 'croque monsieurs' we ordered where absolutely horrible. Frozen inside!! As well the cheeseburgers. If you can't even prepair microwave food, please don't sell any food.

Nobody speaks a word of another language then French.

Very interesting - great to see the wolves, but they look really bored!
May 2016 • Couples
This is a ildlife park that specializes in conserving and displaying wolves from all over the world. They also breed them. When we visited (May 2016) there were some very young cubs. Unfortunately these intelligent creatures look really bored. The best zoos these days try to create an environment in which the animals are stimulated as well as being well fed. One of the wlves looked to have an eye infection. The tours were only in French. The cafe was sub-standard. The poor girl behind the counter couldn't work out firtsly how to find the food and then how to use the microwave. Poor choice of teas available. Enjoyed the visit, but the whole organization, including the exhbition, seemed to be on a showstring and amateurish. I felt sorry for the wolves.

Dear Roger, Thanks for your opinion. Our wolves are in a perfect health. The one you've seen with an eye problem is now fine. The organisation has been properly improuved. We have put in place an English tour but this one is only possible on reservation. All around de park, you have a lot of written informations in french and in English. Concernning our choice of tea... we have 4 to 5 types of tea now. Hope seing you again and soon so I could offer you a nice tea. Best regards,
