Jem. Free admission, donations taken and deserved. History is alive with on site teams working a whale skeleton and treasures from Blackbeard's ship.

Charming museum in a charming setting. I enjoyed a fascinating lecture about dolphins a few years ago. Plan to attend more gams.

Wonderful artifacts days past when pirates Rome can rule this area. Loved it. Can't believe that it's free. Just a wonderful time walking around and learning so much and seeing what this area has to offer as far as education and Heritage.

The visit here was very interesting. They share the history of boat making throughout the years along with a lot of artifacts discovered along the sea.

Many worthwhile exhibits, including an excellent history and lots of actual relics from Blackbeard's ship, the Queen Anne's Revenge.

This is a great museum with things from Blackbeard's ship and other interesting things! A great way to spend an hour or 2. Best of all it is free but donations are accepted!

There is no charge to explore this beautiful, informative museum. Our grandchildren could identify the shells they found on the beach and enjoyed the interactive exhibits about boat/ship building, the coastal environment/sea life, and the Blackbeard/Queen Anne's revenge display.

It's a small indoor museum, I did not see any dogs when we were there. I'm thinking it would not be appropriate to bring dogs in.
