Wonderful museum that was modern and told the history of each maritime topic perfectly. The Queen Anne's Revenge exhibit was very interesting. I would recommend watching the documentary of the QAR in their presentation room before seeing the exhibit.

Great little museum voluntary donation for admittance fee. Perfect location downtown Beaufort. Interesting for our older crowd - is perfect for younger ones as it has fun activities.

It's a small indoor museum, I did not see any dogs when we were there. I'm thinking it would not be appropriate to bring dogs in.
