Log Hollow Falls was listed on a sheet from Pisgah Visitor Center for waterfalls with less than 2 mile round hike. Log Hollow Falls is reached off a gravel road FS475B. The direction to the falls were very helpful - it is 1.6 miles to the Gate where there is access to the trail to Log Hollow Falls. The trail is an old logging road so it is nice and wide and an easy walk/hike. The trail is on .5 miles to the Log Hollow Falls just at the 2nd bridge. It is a scenic waterfall that cascades a bit. We enjoyed the hike. Note: We did continue on FS475B to Slick Rock Falls. FS475B is a VERY winding narrow one lane road that WINDS up and down for several miles to Slick Rock Falls. A tedious drive! Our recommendation is to return to US 276 and go south to FS 475 (paved) then about a 1.5 miles turn onto FS475B go a little over a mile to Slick Rock Falls.

This was a 1 mile round trip easy hike to see the Log Hollow falls. There is a small area to pull off on the road. You walk over two bridges before you see the falls. We were the only ones there at the time so it seemed like our own private falls. There is also another waterfall if you continue on the path, there was not any signage, but we didn’t continue on to the second falls. We really enjoyed the Log Hollow Falls, especially since it wasn’t very busy.

Hiking to Log Hollow Falls is a good hike for the family. It is on a forest road just off of US276 in Pisgah Forest. The trail is on a logging road and is fairly level. There is also an upper falls that goes up the left side

Spectacular falls. Can't wait to return. It's a pretty easy hike, and I'm not hiker. Fun for family and great for photographing.

This is an easy hike where you will see 2 waterfalls on an forest road trail, which is a wide path with gravel too. A perfect hike for just about anyone.

This is a short hike that is easy to do but I would caution everyone to read about how to get there, where to park, and what to walk before going. It is not well marked and you will have no signal once there.
