Wildwater is a smaller operation, but in the best of ways. The staff makes you feel like you're part of their family. We never felt like we were herded. Service was personal and thoughtful. Our guide Dylan was awesome. He was knowledgeable, fun and great with kids. Most of all, we felt safe. It was perfect for our boys, ages... More

I booked the duckies (inflatable kayaks) for my son and me on a Tuesday in October. It was cold, about 45 degrees, when we arrived at Wildwater. They have good gear for warmth -- wetsuit, booties, and jackets -- and the water is cold, so it's best to get everything. It only cost $11 extra per person. We were the... More

Took two girls ages 13 and 11 rafting in the morning and zip lining in the afternoon . They loved both activities Brandon was a wonderful guide, told stories and pointed out native plants in the area. Zip lining was in the rain but they went anyway and totally enjoyed the experience. Both guides were excellent.

Rafting the Nantahala with Robert was one enjoyable experience!! The beauty of the river combined with his knowledge and expertise made for one memorable trip. I highly recommend Wildwater Rafting and Robert for an excursion that you'll never forget. Tip - bring towels and a change of clothes. It's gonna be wet and cold but it'll be worth it!!!

stayed in deep creek campground in a cabin one of the small ones but perfect for two. you can tube down the creek, 5 or 10 minutes from downtown Bryson City and Smokey Mountain Train Station. Small town ( Mayberry) feel and maybe 20 min to N O C if you want to go straight there.

My girlfriend and I had the most awesome trip ever. We rode the train out then met up with Neil for our adventure. He has so much fun on the water you can't help but have a blast. The river is fairly easy, great for beginners like us. Now we want to come back and do bigger water. You should... More

The Nantahala is a gorgeous and pretty easy river to raft or kayak. It's dam fed, so it's pretty consistent too. There are lots of outfitters, but Wildwater is the best. The team is knowledgeable, professional and fun. I've used them a couple of times and each trip has been better than the last.

Wildwater Rafting one of the Best !!! We used WWR on our summer vacation trip when we spent a day up in N.C. Such a great company, and very friendly and knowledgeable of the surrounding area. We had roughly 10 people in our group and were accommodated with ease. The Bus ride up to the launching point was pleasant and... More
