We spent about a week at one of the resorts in Bryson City and was trying to find additional things to do that the whole family could partake in. Heard about this place from a friend that visited a few years back and decided to pay a visit. Coming from Florida, almost all of us fish regularly, so it was... More

My kids were getting bored of fly fishing so my wife took them to Cooper Creek. A little hard to find but they folks there were great and the fish were biting. The folks there were great to the boys, cleaned the fish. We had a great campsite dinner later with what they caught.

Kids enjoyed this. Guaranteed to catch a trout. Trout are large. They will clean for you, but note you will not get a boneless filet. I would highly recommend to get your fish gutted. Much easier to get bones out after it's cooked. This is not cheap. $2 per person (just let the kids fish) then $4.50 per pound. Take... More

If you want to catch a fish, you won't be disappointed. Within five minutes of putting the pole in, there was a fish on the hook. This was one of the best fishing spots our family has ever been to.

Fantastic time spent here! Cought 9 trouts in an hour and a half although first experience at fishing. The staff were very helpful. Amazing family time where you have fun catching your dinner and then cook it yourself 😋

We stopped by Cooper Creek one afternoon after riding the Great Smokey Mountain Railroad in Bryson City. We thought it would be fun to show our girls (2 & 4) that we could catch our own dinner. It takes a little bit of effort to reach the farm, but it was totally worth it. It is a very pretty piece... More

They supplied all gear for fishing. We enjoyed and caught plenty of fish fast. It's a bit of a drive of the road 3.5 miles but it was a pretty drive.
