A rescue zoo, who needs help, but worth the trip. The Giraffe taking carrot sticks out of your mouth gives you warm fizzles and I do mean fuzzies!

This "rescue facility" is a wonderful experience. Although it doesn't have all the glitz & glam of the big NC Zoo, I really liked that all the animals here were rescued from either poor treatment or being unwanted by their owners. You can see that...More

Well kept and extraordinary zoo! Unique in that all of the animals are rescues - there is a safari ride through the exhibit with an informative guide. Almost all of the animals are in a petting zoo setting. They are sweet and approachable. Thrilling to...More

This is a great day trip. Zoo is doing some really great work for animals that have been rescued. I highly recommend a visit here.

It had more animals than I thought it would. It has improved over the last few years. Very nice time with my granddaughter! Only downside is the price of admission is a bit high.
